“Probate for Genealogical Research Part 2”

Talk Abstract:
Probate files are some of the most valuable records for genealogical research. They often contain the deceased ancestor’s will and other important information. In order to understand what happens when a person dies you need to have a basic understanding of the terminology of probate files. This class will be in two parts to cover some of the basic concepts and many of the most used terms. Come and learn how important these records can be to find some of your most elusive ancestors.
