“Mastering the FamilySearch Mobile App”

Scott Hill
3/14/20

Categories: LDS, IR

Talk Abstract:
Enjoy the freedom to go anywhere with the FamilySearch Mobile App. You
can use the app on any mobile device: phone or tablet, iPad or
Android. You can attach sources, upload memories, map your ancestors,
view your fan charts, and much more. If you are a member of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you can get names for the
temple with the Ordinances Ready Feature; then take your phone to the
temple, and they will print your cards for you.

Speaker Bio:
Scott Hill is a retired Chemical Engineer. He enjoys doing family
history and especially the programming side of it. He has been
teaching himself how to program mobile apps and has a few mobile apps
in development that he hopes will be up and running in the next few
months. One is a Family History app for children to get to know their
ancestors. Another is a matching game that his younger grandkids love
to play. He, and his wife Carol, the UVTAGG Facebook Coordinator,
live in Lindon, Utah, have 6 children, 24 grandchildren, and one more
on the way.
