“How to Get the Most Ouf of Your LDS Ancestry Account”

Jim Mosher
6/8/19

Categories: IR, LDS

Talk Abstract:
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can get a free Ancestry.com account. This presentation will show why you would want one, how to set one up, and what you can do with it. We will discuss Trees, Search, and the Image Viewer, will touch on DNA, and look at some of the new things Ancestry has recently released. Come with your questions and will try to have plenty of time for discussion.

Speaker Bio:
JIM MOSHER began his family history journey as an employee of Ancestry.com where he spent seven years working on the Ancestry search experience, image viewer, tree integrations, and big data analysis. He is the author of two books on using Ancestry and serves as a Temple and Family History consultant for the Lindon 21st Ward and the BYU YSA 10th Stake. When he doesn’t know the answer to a family history or FamilySearch question, he always asks his lovely wife, Kelly.
