Many genealogists get so focused on their own research line, their own family, or their own family traditions that they often ignore or sidestep essential research clues and resources that may help break down their brick walls. This presentation will discuss common mistakes made by genealogists of all skill levels and ways to overcome them. These have been collected by research consultants working for FamilySearch.
Speaker Bio:
Beth Taylor, CG, works as a US/Canada research consultant for FamilySearch. She is a Board-certified genealogist (CG), holds a BA of History from Brigham Young University (2005), and is currently pursuing an AG (Accredited Genealogist) in the Midwest from ICAPGen.
