Casa Grandes March 15th/87 [Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico – Tuesday, 15 Mar 1887]

Dear Georgiana [Georgiana Snow Thatcher, b. 1862],

Bro. Pratt [Helaman Pratt, b. 1846] + I came over after the mail today and to attend to some bussiness [business] with Sr. Campo [Senor Campo] and found your letter of the 1st inst. [Tuesday 1 Mar 1887] and one from Erastus W. [Erastus White Snow, b. 1849] of the 3d. [Thursday 3 Mar 1887]. In the latter he tells me that Willard [Willard Snow, b. 1853] has sold out and moved to Ogden [Ogden, Weber, Utah]. Bro. Thatcher [Elder Moses Thatcher] + Campbell have arrived with all the machinery and will start up to the mountains tomorrow. We are all well. Mother [Elizabeth Rebecca Ashby Snow, b. 1831] wrote by last mail in answer to Martie [Martha Ellen Snow, b. 1865], Arthur [Arthur Eugene Snow, b. 1870] + Josephine [Josephine Snow, b. 1859] while I was busy answering other letters. Bro. + Sister Johnson are with us but expect to leave for home tomorrow. I wish Frank [Franklin Richards Snow, b. 1854] to let you + Martie [Martha Ellen Snow, b. 1865] draw from the office [St. George Tithing Office] such vegetables and other things needed for family supplies say to the amount of Ten Dollars per month [$10 per month] or if that is found insufficient with what comes in from other sources he may increase it to fifteen [$15] which probably will be needed when Arthur [Arthur Eugene Snow, b. 1870] gets to using the teams.

I have written Frank [Franklin Richards Snow, b. 1854] to consult Arthur [Arthur Eugene Snow, b. 1870] and try to fit up a team to farm with and haul fuel etc. I presume he will help you out if Flora [Florence Snow Woolley, b. 1856] comes. Possibly Mother [Elizabeth Rebecca Ashby Snow, b. 1831] will return home in April [1887-04. Yours in haste. E. Snow [Erastus Snow, b. 1818]
