Ancestral File Submission Sheets -- 606 microfilms of the hard copy submissions of notes and sources to the Ancestral File -- if the submission came from hard copy, it will give the submission number and you can order the microfilm to see it -- These films are little known, but have lots of LDS FH data sources and documentation
  77. Early Church Information File -- Older descriptive brochure (#34544, Free) here
    1. Card file of 1.5 million references to early Church members from histories, journals, etc.; filmed on 75 rolls of microfilm in 1991 -- additions since then are only available in the FHL -- these are the references only, not the articles themselves

  78. Endowment Index 1842-1970 and in FHLC - Endowment Index (1846-1969) -- sometimes called the Temple Index Bureau Card File or TIB; card file with 30 million cards; filmed on 3081 films; temple data has been extracted from original temple records into IGI and nFS, but cards may have more genealogical data
  79. Nauvoo Temple Endowment Register and in FHLC -- FHL fiche #6051326 (3 fiche) and typescript hard copy at FHL
  80. Archive Section of Family Group Sheets (1942-1969, hard copy used to be available on 4th Floor of JSMB, but now only available on film) -- Family group sheets submitted for temple work -- is a primary source for temple work done, if it has the ordinance date stamped, not typed nor hand written
  81. Archive Section - Family Group Records Collection and Research Department Patron Files -- hard copy used to be available on 4th Floor of JSMB, but now is only available on 4,018 FHL films starting with #540714 -- Family group sheets submitted to share information; filed alphabetically by husband's surname; take information with a grain of salt
  82. LDS Membership Records , Deceased Membership Records 1941-1988 and in FHLC - Deceased Membership Records -- Wiki article describes the different kinds of membership record forms that have been used, how to find, them, and their availability; deceased membership records after about 1949 are usually only available in the FHL and not in FHC's; can transcribe anything from deceased membership records, but can't make photocopies; have been extracted into IGI and new FamilySearch -- for members deceased after 1975 the Deceased Membership Office (1-801-240-3500) will usually give genealogical information over the phone, and, if needed, can get an LDS Church Birth Certificate from these records (1-801-240-3577)
  83. Early Ward and Branch Records -- old "Form E's" from each unit, listed members; have been filmed and are being extracted -- Utah Church Records - LDS ; also see Jaussi and Chaston's Register of Genealogical Society Call Numbers to find the film number for the particular church unit
  84. LDS Church Censuses , Church Censuses 1914-1960 , and FHLC - Church Census Records -- on 651 FHL films starting with #25708 -- usually taken every 5 years; arranged alphabetically by head of household
  85. Member Autobiographies
    1. 4-page form that all Church members were asked to complete in 1924-1929

  86. Patriarchal Blessings
    1. Can obtain copies of patriarchal blessings of all your LDS ancestors, limit of 4 per month; no charge now

    4. Be sure to check under maiden and married names and with various spellings -- many members received 2 or 3 patriarchal blessings
