My Dearly beloved wife,  I this morning telegraphed my arrival-  Have seen Josephine [Josephine Snow, b. 1859] & Martha [Martha Ellen Snow, b. 1865].   Also Jos. M. Taner [Joseph M. Tanner] who is down today with his wife and it is arranged to finish up matters tonight and start him on his Mission to Germany Monday 6th July [6 Jul 1884] -  Just when the girls will be ready to start home is yet uncertain but Josephine [Josephine Snow, b. 1859] said today she would like to go early in July [Jul 1884] if oppertunity [opportunity] offers.   Perhaps one of the boys and Buggy could come [to] Milford [Milford, Utah] for them with Doll [horse] & Mahonris [Mahonri Moriancumr Snow, b. 1847] little horse or Moroni’s [Moroni Snow, b. 1858] (That is if other horses should be busy-   How are all at home?   Is Ashby [Ashby Snow, b. 1867] in store?  has Nelle [mare] a colt [?] -   Did you see a dispatch for me after I left home or before announcing Lucy’s  [Lucy Simmons Snow, b. 1855] accouchment [accouchement – confinement during childbirth] and a daughter?   If so why did you not forward it to Cedar [Cedar City, Utah ?]?   She is doing well,   your folks all well.   Jeddie Stringham is to Mary [marry] a girl by name of Hoagan [Hoggan ?] (Scotch girl) tomorrow [Thursday 26 Jun 1884] and is to keep the 11th ward store for Freeze [?]-  Zilla [Barzilla ?] still with her Mothers Mother-  Harriets [Harriet Orilla Peters Snow, b. 1857] big room is divided into Parlor bedroom, kitchen & pantry- quite cozy-   did a manuscript of a sermon for my examination arrive at your house either before I got home or since?   George Gibs [George Gibbs] says he sent one-    If you or E. B. [Erastus Beman Snow, b. 1853] can find it remail it to me here [Salt Lake City] -  Box B [First Presidency's mailbox]. where all my letters should be directed till further orders  -  Elders Lyman [Frances M. Lyman] & B. Young [Brigham Young Jr.] have returned from Arrizona [Arizona] and also has John W. [John W. Taylor]   Tell Missia [Artimesia Snow Woolley Seegmiller, b. 1849] that John don’t expect Dan [Daniel Seegmiller, b. 1836] and will come home before July [Jul 1884] -  Julia [Julia Josephine Spencer Snow, b. 1837] told me that Aunt Mary [Mary Minerva Snow, b. 1813] was quite poorly when she left.   [You] Could get enough suitable to eat and hot weather go round with Bugy [buggy] and see what you can do for her-   God help you and yours.  Loveingly [Lovingly] yours &c [etc.]

P.S.  Josephine [Julia Josephine Spencer Snow, b. 1831] ordered a forty pound [40 lbs] box of codfish as well as a box of mackerel -   I sight [?] July [Jul 1884] to have 2/5 of sugar salt &c and what fish she needs and you the ballance [balance] and if you both don’t need all the fish and salt sell or let others Libbie [Elizabeth Ashby Snow Ivins, b. 1854] & Mary [Mary Minerva Snow, b. 1846] have some.
